The Setting

Like Nowhere Else in the Blue Ridge.

There is no other wedding venue like Munaya in the Blue Ridge.

The doors came from the medina. The tiles were cut by hand in Fes. The arches, the lanterns — none of it is a backdrop. It's a world, carried across an ocean and set down on a mountain ridge, and that is what makes the setting singular.

Imagine it: the Sultana Pavilion draped in blooms, its emerald-tiled roof catching the late gold light. A ceremony framed by hand-cut tile and lantern light. Lanterns lit down the ridgeline as the mountains turn blue. Your people gathered in a place they'll never forget, because there is nowhere else it could have been.

Bring your own vision — your colors, your culture, your ceremony. Munaya is the extraordinary canvas; the day is entirely yours.

This is not a barn. It is not a vineyard. It is a sanctuary — and for one sacred day, it is yours.

By Design

A Celebration You'll Remember Every Moment Of

Munaya holds alcohol-free celebrations by design. Not as a restriction — as the point. Your guests stay present, your photographs hold real faces, and no one loses the end of the night.

In place of a bar: a Moroccan mint tea ceremony poured from silver, garden mocktails, and a cacao toast around the fire.

For couples who've been looking for a wedding that honors this — in their faith, their recovery, or simply their preference — and finding nowhere that does it beautifully. This is that place.

Your Wedding, Across the Land

Every Corner Tells a Story.

The Sultana Pavilion

The Sultana Pavilion

Your ceremony space. An open-air octagonal pavilion crowned with an emerald-tiled Moroccan roof, framed by panoramic mountain views. Draped in your florals, it becomes an altar beneath the sky.

Say your vows where the elements meet.

The Ridgeline

The Ridgeline

Your golden hour. Lanterns and string lights lead down the mountain ridge as the valley turns to dusk. The most photographed twenty minutes of your day.

Where the light does the rest.

The Medina Tea House

The Medina Tea House

Your reception, reimagined. A geodesic dome of handcrafted Moroccan tile — for a seated dinner, a tea ceremony, or a candlelit celebration beneath the stars.

Dinner in a jewel box on the mountain.

The Fire Circle

The Fire Circle

Your after-hours. As the night deepens, gather around the sacred fire — music, dancing, and the ones who stayed till the end.

Where the celebration burns bright.

The Domes

The Domes

Your wedding night, and your closest guests'. Three Moroccan domes for the couple and the people nearest to you — so the celebration doesn't end when the music does.

Sleep beneath the stars you were married under.

Two Ways to Gather

Choose Your Celebration

A single day around the Pavilion — or three nights when the whole land is yours, and the celebration becomes a passage.

The Day

You arrive, you marry, you feast, you go into the mountains.

Both are a single day around the Pavilion. What changes is how many people come, and how long you stay.

The Elopement

Whispered Vows

Just the two of you, and the few who could not stay away.

Choose this if the day belongs to the two of you, and dinner is the whole celebration.

Up to 20 guests · A few hours on the land

From $5,500

The land

  • The Sultana Pavilion, for your ceremony
  • The Medina Tea House, for your dinner
  • The grounds and the ridgeline, for your portraits

The setup

  • The fire circle, laid and lit

Where you stay

  • One night in Munaya Maison, for the two of you

From $10,500

Held by

Your day-of coordinator — with a Munaya liaison beside them.

The Weekend

Your people sleep on the land, and the celebration becomes a passage.

Both weekend celebrations are three nights on the whole land, with sixteen sleeping under the domes. What changes is whether you build the weekend — or we do.

You Bring Your Team

The Munaya Sacred Wedding

The whole land is yours. Your planner shapes the weekend on it.

Choose this if you already have a planner you love, and you want the land to yourselves.

Up to 100 guests · Three nights · 16 sleep on the land

From $23,500

The land

  • The whole property, closed to everyone else
  • The Sultana Pavilion, the Medina Tea House, the fire circle
  • Every acre, for three days

The setup

  • Chairs, tables, linens, and the ceremony arch
  • The fire circle, laid and lit each night
  • Space and power for your caterer, your musicians, your vendors
  • A rehearsal hour the day before

Where you stay

  • Three nights, arrival through farewell
  • The geodesic domes and Munaya Maison
  • For you and 16 of your people

  • A farewell morning on the land

Held by

Your planner and your vendors — with a Munaya liaison beside them, and introductions to the people who know this land.

We Hold It For You

The Sacred Union Retreat

The same three nights — dressed, blessed, and held.

Choose this if you want to arrive into a world already made beautiful, and be carried through the weekend.

Up to 100 guests · Three nights · 16 sleep on the land

From $32,500

Everything in the Munaya Sacred Wedding — the same land, the same three nights, the same sixteen under the domes. Plus:

The Munaya setting

  • The full design and decor, in our Moroccan and Arabian style — lanterns, tilework, rugs, poufs, floor seating, and sofas
  • The spaces hold their Moroccan soul all weekend; we dress the celebration itself on your wedding day
  • Living greenery from the land — olive branches, herbs from the greenhouse, pampas, and petals (fresh personal florals yours to add)
  • A written weather plan, shown to you before you arrive

The touches

  • A welcome basket in each dome, and beds turned down
  • A farewell brunch the morning after, for you and your overnight guests

Held by

We do — the full Moroccan design, the rituals, and day-of coordination by the Munaya team, with three planning calls from the day you book. You bring your vendors — caterer, photographer, music — and we'll introduce you to the ones who know this land.

Three-night weekends are our standard. Midweek dates and custom stays of more than three nights are available — just ask.
A hundred-guest celebration takes the whole land out of circulation — the day before to build it, the morning after to gather it in — which is why the weekend is held whole, however many sleep here.

Starting rates reflect our winter season. Spring, summer, and fall are priced by date — we'll share your season's rate when we talk.

Every wedding is shaped to your guest count, your season, and your vision — these are starting points. We'll shape the rest together. A professional day-of coordinator is required for celebrations over 20 guests — and we'll gladly introduce you to planners who know this land.
