Munaya isn't a hotel. It isn't a retreat center. It isn't a spa or a glamping site.

Munaya is a movement back to wholeness — a radical return to nature, to soul, to the dream you buried beneath years of doing what the world expected.

The Only One of Its Kind

Morocco, in the mountains

The First Moroccan Sanctuary in the Blue Ridge

There is no other place like this in these mountains.

The doors came from the medina. The tiles were cut by hand in Fes, the city I was born in. The arches, the fountains, the brass — none of it is decoration. It's the architecture I grew up inside, carried across an ocean and set down on fifteen acres of Appalachian hillside.

You'll sleep under a geodesic dome and wake to a Moroccan lantern. You'll drink mint tea where the mountains meet the sky.

Two worlds, and you're standing in both.

Why I Built Munaya

Dreams are sacred

Munaya means my wish — my sacred dream. I named this land that on purpose.

My whole life, one dream has carried me to the next. From Fes to Ivy League halls. From those halls to the top of the tech world. Through the grief of miscarriage into the wonder of becoming a mother.

And then a quieter dream began to call — to live close to the land, to nature, to something older than ambition. I couldn't not answer it.

So I bought these fifteen acres and let them remember Morocco. This land is my soul's calling made real — a place to heal, to become who we're meant to be, to honor the dreams we've been afraid to name.

Because dreams are sacred. They're the soul remembering what it came here for. And everyone deserves a place to come home to theirs.

Voices from the Land

"

I left feeling completely renewed, grounded, and grateful. Every detail is thoughtfully designed to create a sense of peace and connection. What makes it extraordinary is Saloua — her warmth, vision, and attention to every detail. Munaya is truly a sanctuary for the soul.

"

I've not been to a place so freely connected to nature and luxury until Munaya. Mornings journaling on the deck, evenings in the hot tub under the moonlight. Heaven.

"

I booked intending a restful reset. This was absolutely beyond what I imagined — a reset of yourself fully: body, mind, and spirit.
